The Hubs took Monday off work and he and I went on our first long ride together since he road his century a couple weeks ago. If you recall from my own post about the BikeMS Photoshoot, he bought me a camera bag for my bike and I was anxious try give it a go. It was an eventful ride (The Hubs discovered the dubious “joys” of toe clips for your pedals and put some on mine. Which promptly caused me to fall LOL), but, at one point, the trail we use passes the world-famous Grant’s Farm, which is still home to some of the most beautiful Clydesdales on the planet.
I’m proud to say I got this shot with my telephoto lens on my Nikon body that had just survived me falling to the ground, because I foolishly tried to balance against the light pole at a stop, as opposed to taking my foot out of my new toe clip. My new bike bag was put to the test on it’s first outing and it passed the test with flying colors. My shin, however, didn’t fare quite so well.
I’m really looking forward to packing up my bike and my bike camera bag again and heading out on another photo excursion!
