So, The Hubs has once again become an avid bicyclist and has recently joined forces with a couple of his coworkers from Numotion to form a team to participate in the BikeMS Event – the premiere fundraising cycling series in the country. The Hubs and his teammates decided to shoot for The Century – riding 100 miles in one day! I was hired on as the Team Photographer and I’m sharing some pictures from my shoot with the team.
These are the great group of guys The Hubs trained with.
And each team member got their portrait done with the company banner.
Our adorable banner girl was the daughter of one of our team members. She made sure that the names of all the people the team was riding for were front and center.
Getting everyone in place was a challenge – no one was exhausted yet, most were excited, and some were still just plain tired from getting up at 4am. Myself included.
But, the best picture of day wasn’t taken by me – it was taken by The Hubs right after he crossed the finish line…
104 miles ridden, 170% of his fundraising goal met, great friendships formed, and a lot of very important work to be accomplished from the proceeds of the combined efforts of the hundreds of riders who participated. And multiplied by the thousands who participated nationwide. I’m incredibly proud of The Hubs and the whole team. For their dedication to raising for the cause and for their personal achievements of setting a goal – an incredibly hard goal – and achieving it. And they are ready to sign on again next year!
