I make no secret of my love of Gargoyles. I wrote a post about there here. I even love the Gargoyles cartoon. So, when I spotted these guys, I had to stop the car and jump out to get a couple shots.
Now, these fellows sit high atop the St. George Catholic Church in South St. Louis. Since the church is named for St. George, of dragon-conquering fame, it makes sense that there would be a few commemorative dragons hanging about the place.
So, there’s a dose of dragons, and gargoyles, and cool churches for your Tuesday. And you can trust me, your intrepid photographer, to leave no height unscaled to get a picture of my favorite, often creepy, wall hangers!

And be sure to find me on Facebook for behind the scenes stuff and general goofiness. I’m on Twitter, too, but be warned – I have been known to accidentally tweet-bomb during baseball season!)
