Sunbathing

I love to go to Kimmwick, MO, for their local festivals and to take pictures. Kimmswick is a tiny town on the National Register of Historic Places with about 150 or so residents. Their main strip is comprised of historic buildings, most of which now house tea houses, or small businesses specializing in handcrafted items. It’s very charming and they are famous for their Blue Owl Restaurant and their Apple Butter Festival. During some of these festivals, the streets will be jam-packed with visitors. I guess the locals get used to all the activity, because I found this fellow relaxing in his front yard, catching some rays, and watching the shoppers and visitors stroll by!

Kimmwick, MO, Missouri, Apple Butter Festival, Cat, Still Life,

I must have walked past this lazy resident a half-dozen times and he never moved much. LOL I guess you get used to a couple thousand people descending on your tiny township a few times a year. But, nothing was bothering him that day!

(I would love for you to come back to visit, so please SUBSCRIBE using one of the buttons I have up there at the top on the left. And be sure to find me on Facebook for behind the scenes stuff and general goofiness. I’m on Twitter, too, but be warned – I have been known to accidentally tweet-bomb during baseball season!)
