Heh. Came across this really cool, rusty, old foot bridge in one of my travels with The Hubs. Not part of a fancy park or anything, this is just along one of the many walk/bike paths in the ‘Lou, but this section didn’t look particularly well-maintained. Parts of the concrete were all broken up and the bridge had probably seen better days itself. But, it lent itself to a neat perspective shot and fun with post-processing! We’ll start out with the bridge itself and just a little window dressing.
I loved the swervy lines, the bends, and the symmetry (of course, duh). So, I went to town and made it call funky looking, because, well, because I didn’t feel like cleaning the bathrooms and I didn’t have much else to do. LOL
I love occasionally taking a picture and making it look like a crayon box got melted all over it. I don’t know why exactly. They are loud and garish but I like it. LOL The Hubs, not so much. He wanted a black & white.
So, it’s another three-version post, stemming from my abhorrence of cleaning bathrooms and The Hubs’ abhorrence of my garish monstrosity pieces. LOL If there’s anyone out there siding with me, shoot me a comment below, so I can lord over him! *snort*
