The World’s Fair Pavilion

OK, so I did finally pull myself away from the awesome symmetry I shared in yesterday’s post and went around to the stunning front of Forest Park’s beautiful World’s Fair pavilion. The fountains aren’t going yet, but that doesn’t make it any less gorgeous.

The World's Fair Pavilion at Forest Park, St. Louis, MO

Built in 1909 with proceeds from the 1904 World’s Fair held in Forest Park, it’s available for rental and can accommodate 500 people. It was completely renovated in 1998 for $1.1 million dollars.

That’s a heck of a lot more people than my “pavilion” from Big Lots accomodates. Just sayin’…

And be sure to find me on Facebook for behind the scenes stuff and general goofiness. I’m on Twitter, too, but be warned – I have been known to accidentally tweet-bomb during baseball season!)
