The Clark Bridge

The Hubs took a couple of days off work (mental health days, he calls them) and he and I headed up to Alton, IL to do a little sightseeing, have lunch at one of their local shops, and take some pictures. Alton is such a cool town, starting before you even arrive. To get there, you have to cross this gorgeous bridge.

I will have to go back up someday at night, because it’s all lit up and really beautiful. And Alton is so full of steep hills (sort of like a mini San Fransisco), that you can almost always find a new view of the bridge and the Mississippi River every time you visit!

(I would love for you to come back to visit, so please SUBSCRIBE using one of the buttons I have up there at the top on the left. And be sure to find me on Facebook for behind the scenes stuff and general goofiness. I’m on Twitter, too, but be warned – I have been known to accidentally tweet-bomb during baseball season!)
