First Walk of the Season

Oh, happy day! Yesterday, it was finally warm enough to get back out on the trail for a walk with The Hubs! I could feel the long, cold winter losing its grip at long last!

But, from a photography standpoint, it’s a rough time of year…LOL

The scenery is just blah. The trees are still bare. The grass is still dead. Everything is shades of gray and brown and tan.

It certainly can be a challenge for a photographer. LOL

The Hubs had his bike out in the morning for a ride, but it’s still too chilly for me at that speed. But, by the afternoon, it was just perfect for a long walk to both stretch the legs and play with the camera.

There were the last bits of ice melting in the grayish-tan woods.

But the sun was shining clear and bright, the skies were blue, I was out with my best guy, and spring is right around the corner!

Now, let’s see what I can make out of these shots I got… Winking smile
