Two Versions

In Memorial Cemetery, as much as I was interested in the smaller, seemingly overlooked graves, there really are some impressive, beautiful headstones, full of history and information of the people that once lived in St. Genevieve.

Two Versions

I actually edited two versions of this shot. Ultimately, I couldn’t decide if I preferred harkening to the past with a sepia/B&W combination, or the color version I have after the jump…

Two Versions_1

This shot was taken from a slightly lowered POV and processed in Lightroom for a vaguely dreamlike, glowy effect. But, I really wanted to maintain the clarity of the names and dates on the markers.

I like them both. But, after you work on things for awhile, it all started to bleed together. LOL Which version do you prefer?
