“It’s OK” Thursday…

It’s OK…

…that my uncle feels the need to call me twice in one day just to tell me about the movie “Cat People.” It’s not like I was trying to go to the bathroom or like I haven’t seen that movie a half-dozen times. I collect old movies, for Heaven’s sakes! LOL

…that I backed up on a four-lane road almost three hundred feet this morning. A stupid semi was trying to turn onto a narrow, two-lane road and apparently needs to practice more. I had to get The Girl Child to her STUCO meeting on time and I gave him three tries to work it out. To the dude behind me who I backed around – maybe you have all day to sit there like a lump, but I don’t. Honk your horn at someone who cares. I saw you. You just weren’t stopping me.

…that I am thankful once again for colored duct tape that matches my leather chair. If you can’t tell it’s there, it’s not redneck. Just saying. Besides, I have four dogs, so I get a pass on the occasional duct-tape repair.

…that I bummed a few dishwasher tablets from my mom-in-law instead of making a trip to the grocery store just for those. I hate the grocery store and my mum-in-law was under the impression that she had bought some that were too fat for her dishwasher, so she bought different ones anyway. The fact that I didn’t explain to her that they compress is beside the point. (I really hate the grocery store, did I say that?)

…that I can’t get my uncle to understand that there is not a bed sheet size between twin and full. I will just continue to be “magic” when I get the “too large” full-size sheets to “fit.” I’m a wizard, I know…

…that I’m really missing my empty house mornings since the Little Brother decided to take a semester off school to save up some money. Mornings alone are sooooo nice… I adore my kids, but I’m sorry, it’s true! (And they all live at home, so it’s not like I don’t see them.)

So, what craziness in your life are you OK with today?

(I would love for you to come back to visit, so please SUBSCRIBE using one of the buttons I have up there at the top on the right. And be sure to find me on Facebook for behind the scenes stuff and general goofiness. I’m on Twitter, too, but be warned – I have been known to accidentally tweet-bomb during baseball seasonl!)

Just dealing with the every day craziness of life. People are funny critters. I mean watching someone drive on the sidewalk in front of grocery store, going to get an orange juice at 7-11 and somebody is spending 20 minutes figuring out what lottery ticket to get, stuff like that.

As for baseball, college baseball has started already and I have a bunch of baseball related stuff on my blog from last season: csuhpat1.blogspot.com

    I know shameless self-promotion. Sorry
